Ramen Chef
In the Ramen Chef game, I was the game designer responsible for several crucial areas of development. My role included creating the game flow, core mechanics, economy, as well as visual (VFX) and sound effects (SFX).
For the game flow, I developed a scheme that ensured a smooth and intuitive progression for players, cohesively merging the two gameplay moments of the game, from the initial tutorial to the more advanced levels. This involved extensive planning, schematization, and iteration to create a cohesive and engaging experience.
In developing the core mechanics, I focused on creating dynamic and rewarding interactions that kept players engaged.
Rebalancing the game's economy was an essential part, where I analyzed and adjusted resource flows, prices, and rewards to create a balanced and motivating economy.
Additionally, I created visual effects using Unity's particle system and sound effects that significantly enhanced the player experience, providing greater immersion and precise sensory feedback.
My specific contributions included:
